I picked up the Tamiya kit recently... it's fragile and a bit fiddly but absolutely wicked at taking out squads of veterans. I don't know why but I've recently become interested in good ways to take out veterans. ;)

Anyway, looking forward to more. Your paint work was very inspirational so I'm going all out on my US infantry.Weekend Generalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02451090922967691677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post-28217746303605421562014-11-27T21:58:42.875-06:002014-11-27T21:58:42.875-06:00Hey Seamus, these guys (waffen SS) are part of our...Hey Seamus, these guys (waffen SS) are part of our team tourney force, Aaron is running the PG side of things . The Germans made only a handful of SiG33's, but every kampfgruppe I formed had one. A mobile 150mm direct-fire gun was just too useful for flattening strongpoints and taking down buildings. Late war, the Brumbar would fill the same role. It's like I was playing one of the handful of units that got to use them, no matter what. Based on my usage, you'd think the Germans deployed as many Sig33s than Panzer IVf1s or IIIs.

Also, reading these posts makes me want to unearth all of my Airfix HO scale soldiers and convince my friends to play some WWII skirmish games with me. It won't work, but it's so tempting to try.Peter Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246000382321978462noreply@blogger.com
