tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post57631073754289481..comments2024-01-23T04:05:39.851-06:00Comments on Plastic Legions: Advanced Song of Blades and Heroes- Temple RunJPLhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12461099993856743894noreply@blogger.comBlogger4125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post-4097619349944014242018-12-05T10:34:41.728-06:002018-12-05T10:34:41.728-06:00We played that game right before we went on vacati...We played that game right before we went on vacation last summer, my plan was to write it up while we where away , that never happened and and somewhere along the way I lost my notes.<br /><br />From what I remember:<br /><br />The game was a blood bath coming down to a couple surviving good guys (the paladin and the Ranger vs the Lich, early on the Lich summomed a either a power 2 or 3 lv Undead Warrior in the middle of big melee with zombies that just wreaked havoc and it killed the Squire, Priest and Man at Arms, which caused the paladin and ranger to have to stay out of the Liches LoS and draw the other dead to them...the thief stole the artifact but got fried by a spell trying to get away with it..in the end the Ranger took the Lich out with arrows hitting while it was knocked prone.<br /><br />tough comparison between that and OWS.. while figures in OWS are super tanky, in ASoBH everyone can die at moments notice at the whim of the dice, for instance if your opponent wins with a even number and a figure is knocked prone with other enemy figures around its most likely dead.. In OWS I can wade that beefed up Paladin into combat with Demon and know he's got a multiple layers of rolls to protected from even a single wound (parry, armor save etc) and hes got 3 wounds to pull from in ASoBH, that same beefed up Paladin is wary of lowly skeleton because the are no "wounds" just a bad situations or rolls that can kill you so you tend to play it way more conservative. two totally different flavors of game.JPLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12461099993856743894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post-52281082646899194332018-12-05T09:25:02.729-06:002018-12-05T09:25:02.729-06:00Was there ever a game write up, as mentioned.
