This will strip off the mold release residue in no time, like less than 5 minutes. I have done this with many FFG games like Descent and BattleLore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post-76465141663021146072008-12-17T14:35:00.000-06:002008-12-17T14:35:00.000-06:00It's no Twilight Imperium, last time I played that...It's no Twilight Imperium, last time I played that with Felix and a bunch of guys it was like 8 hours and I left before it was over..(but I was dead)..JPLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12461099993856743894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6786977598764243863.post-49898534184475174562008-12-17T13:51:00.000-06:002008-12-17T13:51:00.000-06:00The one hour comment, was really a joke. I was a bit surprized that FFG managed to get the license from GW, but I guess stranger things have happened.

I have played Billy's copy Doom (also FFG, also the same type of plastic minis) and can attest to the "stickyness" of the figs. I started painting my set of minis for the Doom boardgame, and the primer is STILL sticky, several years later. With the 'green army men' style plastic, soaking it in vinegar before painting seems to prep the surface nicely. I haven't tried it yet on the Doom figs. (Apart from the stickiness, the Doom figures painted up well, paint seems to work over the sticky primer, but I can't imagine it's an ideal surface for extended handling)Conspyrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14135525348326754627noreply@blogger.com
